Lucid is a built environment design studio based in Manchester. We have a strong track record of supporting local councils, communities, landowners and developers, tackling complex development and regeneration challenges to realise positive change.

Our name is more than a label - it’s our guiding principle. In an industry often clouded by technical jargon and unnecessary complexity, we aim to cut through the noise and create clear design proposals that speak to people.
We are committed to creating work that is purposeful, ambitious and vibrant but also considered, accessible and straightforward. By approaching our work in this way, we can unlock the potential of places, communities and the natural environment.
Our logo reflects the value we place on collaboration. The overlapping colours highlight diversity of thought, a richness of experience and suggest the progressive change that can be made by working together.
We reach across the traditional boundaries of design, combining skills in urbanism, landscape and graphics, to find the right response to each challenge.

Our base and roots in the North of England have driven a passion for the regeneration and growth of towns and cities - we enjoy working to overcome physical & perceptual challenges to help realise places of character and value.
